OVERVIEW
The Burrow feral enclosure houses a colony of feral cats who needed a new home when their colony was under threat. Two wonderful cat enthusiasts had been carefully managing a colony of cats in Spring, TX, thanks to their efforts the whole colony had undergone TNR and was thriving until a neighbor began shooting cats. Desperate to protect their feline charges the ladies reached out to Mimi with an offer: if the Commune could house these ferals and keep them safe their caregivers would cover the cost to construct an enclosure on Commune property. The Commune had room and so The Burrow was constructed and all thirteen cats were trapped and transferred to the Commune to live out their retirement in safety. Today ten cats remain.
