In 2020 Mimi went to see a cat available for adoption through Smart Rescue, Allura, but as soon as she arrived a little black and white kitten launched herself at the front of her enclosure demanding Mimi’s attention. So Matt and Mimi brought home Vex the same day as Allura to join them as personal pets. Her sweet face matches her chatty and affectionate personality. In addition to being a social butterfly Vex is slightly vexed by door knobs, despite her many attempts she just can’t seem to open the door like the humans do.
