In 2024 the Commune was contacted by agentleman to secure housing for his aging cat. As he could no longer care for Teresa he was concerned about finding her a home that understood spicy felines. While she had no major health concerns Teresa was not very social and prefered limited contact with humans. At the Commune she was allowed to be her spicy self for the remainder of her days.

Teresa lived a low-profile life and was difficult to photograph. Early in 2025 we said goodbye to Teresa due to acute peritonitis.
