Autumn

Autumn was a very special girl. She lived at the Commune as a resident pet to Matt and Mimi as opposed to a Commune Cat, but she was so worth showing off! Abandoned by her mama when she was about 3 weeks old her eyes were sealed shut with infection, and she was nearly dead. Overnight feedings, antibiotics, and lots of love later, she quickly became an integral part of the household! She was always Matt’s special girl.

Reaching a maximum of 7 pounds at her heaviest she remained just a tiny girl, with the tiniest little white feet. Autumn was a legendarily picky eater who refused to switch to higher quality food only eating Science Diet Savory Seafood ages 1-6 at room temperature -not warmed or refrigerated. Not on a paper plate. Not “indoor” formula or “hairball” formula. She was offered literally every other cat food ever brought into the house (and that is a LOT of different foods) and she refused each and every one! We have never known a pickier girl!

Autumn spent much of her life as queen of the kitchen supervising from her corner and always ready for some gentle pets. She passed in 2024 at the age of 18 years after a long and peaceful life.
