Fred and George were kittens found during the insane flooding in Houston in 2016. They were brought in to the clinic where Mimi works with hopes of adopting them out. It was quickly determined that they were too feral for adoption. They were vetted and Mimi made arrangements with relatives for them to go be barn cats, but before that could happen, the relatives had an alligator move into the tank on the property - seriously! A bit too dangerous for 5 month old kittens! They have remained here at the Commune. Fred has come around, but George has remained quite feral. He is adorable but wild, and we respect that. They are safe, and like everyone else here, they are each allowed to just BE the cats they want to be.
