Fred Weasley

Fred and George were kittens found during the insane flooding in Houston in 2016.  They were brought in to the clinic where Mimi works with hopes of adopting them out.  It was quickly determined that they were too feral for adoption. They were vetted and Mimi made arrangements with relatives for them to go be barn cats, but before that could happen, the relatives had an alligator move into the tank on the property - seriously! A bit too dangerous for 5 month old kittens! They remained here at the Commune. That turned out to be a good thing.  Fred came around to be sweet and social, but he never thrived.  Despite nutritional intervention through supplements ad injections he struggled to put on weight and never really grew. He adored Matt and wouldn't let him walk through the house without trying to trip him up rubbing on his ankles. On February 20, 2017 he passed away, for such a tiny boy he left a big impact and will be sorely missed.
